How It Works
This is not a cookie-cutter service or a demo mill. This is a bespoke production service. During a free consultation session, I will evaluate your current work, and if we decide you’re ready to move forward, we will go through the production process together for YOUR demo. We’ll work to tailor the reel to your strengths and needs, finding the right scripts, rehearsing, coaching, and directing you for the right tone and performances – whether we’re updating your current reel or starting on a brand new one.
In addition to my recent work as voice director for SpongeBob, what sets me apart is my decades of experience as a commercial producer, casting director, writer, voice actor, and voice director. I ran one of the most successful and award-winning radio commercial production companies in the country, and have produced thousands of radio spots and TV commercial soundtracks. Yes… thousands. I’ve worked with some of the most famous and talented actors, as well as those speaking their first words into a microphone. My comedy work is especially well known. On top of all of this experience, I’ve also spent the last few years as a well-respected VO coach. I know how to elicit great performances from actors, and how to add production value and polish to make reels stand out. There are very few, if any, who have this kind of rich and varied background. This is the deep experience and expertise I’m bringing to my demo producing services.
The Details
I offer two VO demo reel services: Commercials & Animation. That’s what I know and do best, and why I’ll happily recommend other great demo producers to you for other genres.
Commercial Reel
Includes prep and rehearsal sessions, scripts, studio & engineer, director, SFX, music, etc. Limited to two revisions prior to final approval. If using other actors for dialogue, fees will be negotiated.*
Animation Reel
Includes prep and rehearsal sessions, scripts, studio & engineer, director, SFX, music, etc. Limited to two revisions prior to final approval. If using other actors for dialogue, fees will be negotiated.*
*All of these services are reserved for those who are deemed “demo ready” after an evaluation of their work and experience.
Demo Recording Studio Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made NO LATER THAN 72 HOURS prior to the scheduled session. Failure to do so will result in a $500.00 cancellation fee. No exceptions.
